Adventures ahoy!!

Well our second annual road trip to Minnesota has been taken.  I was a little nervous driving by myself and the four kids for 1500 miles, but they were amazing and it took us two and a half days of driving to get to my dad's house.
 We are on our waaaaaaay!!

This was the first potty stop of many, but I made the kids run a few laps to get all the wiggles out...they make everything so much fun!

Our first night we spent with our good friends Ted, Jess, and their two boys Chase(3) and Treven.  They were gracious enough to let us invade, because with four kids at your house it's more of an invasion than just staying over, and they feed all of us too!  We were so grateful and had a lot of fun visiting with them.

Cute boys!!

The next day we made it to Bismarck, ND.  We stayed with Mark and his wife Sue and I could kick myself for not getting any pictures of them, because also there was Evelyn, my grandfather's sister and her husband Milton.  They are so dear to me and I loved chatting with all of them.  So the pictures I did get were at the Bismarck Zoo...we had a great time, well most of us...
Ruthie did not want to walk and I did not want to hold her so she went to her big brother for help...

We ended our zoo trip at the farm animals.  I normally do not take pictures of animals but this little guy was irresistible!

Then we were off to GrandPaul and GrAmy's house!  Of course as soon as we got there playing, not resting, was on the kids agenda, and so the fun began!

GranPaul put together a monster slip n' slid down a hill, needless to say it was one of the favorite activities of the week...
 Ready to gooooooooooooooo!!!

We spent sometime at the lake too.  These pictures are from a couple different days...ahhhhhh summer at the beach!

The kids got to go fishing as well and by kids I mean those big enough to be on a pontoon in the middle of a lake and not be a hazard to themselves.  The fishing was good and the kids loved it!

Getting ready to load more fish on the hooks!

It was a little too windy to fish on this day...poor babies!

Fish were not the only thing caught on this trip...

On the 3rd of July Brad was able to make the big drive up to Minnesota to be with us for the 4th, so we were able to show him all the fun things we had been doing....including the water slide.

GrandPaul and Brielle going!

Ruthi and Daddy taking their turn...

I have decided since I have a lot of trip left to show I will make a part two.

To be continued...
